Hugh O'Reilly has announced that he will not be seeking a fourth term as Mayor of the Resort Municipality of Whistler in the upcoming election. Hugh has served on the council for 17 years, the last 9 as Mayor and will be moving to Hawaii at the end of August 2005 to start a marketing position with Playground, a sales division of Intrawest.

Well the 2005 Telus Skins game at Nicklaus North golf course in Whistler wrapped up today, a little wet but still a great day. Canadas own Steven Ames ended up the winner finishing just slightly ahead of course designer and gold legend, the Golden Bear himself Jack Nicklaus. In what will most likely be Jack's last time playing competitive golf in Canada as he will retire from the game after playing in the British Open next week, Jack showed he could still hang with the best.
