Whistler offers several different types of products for shared owners/ fractional ownership/ and time share. A quick breakdown of these properties and what they offer can be found below.

Quarter Share: Whistler offers two properties where the ownership is divided into 4 seperate parts, or quarter share. This allows the owner to use the property every fourth week in a rotating schedule. Presently the Horstman House and Legends offer this type of ownership. These properties were developed with the owner looking for a property in Whistler, but not requiring full time access to it. A much more affordable option for the Whistler market these one, two and three bedroom fully furnished condo properties start at $120,000.

Ownermatch International: Ownermatch is a shared ownership program for resort properties that "matches" two owners together for the joint ownership and use of a property. Being more flexible that some of the other alternatives on the market, this can allow for a more tailormade appraoch to cost sharing a resort home.

At Nature's Door: A brand new offering in the Whistler market, at Nature's Door is a fractional ownership opportunity for larger homes. Offering 3 and 4 bedroom fully furnished and equipped luxury townhomes (2300 to 2700 sq ft) located right alongside the Dave Murray Downhill on Whistler mountain. Ownership is divided into 1/10th shares and start around $260,000.

Club Intrawest: Located in the upper village on Blackcomb Mountain Club Intrawest offers studio to three bedroom condos using a point system. Customers purchase a certain amount of points and use these points during the year for use of one of the suites in the property. Points are then refreshed at the end of the year for the next season. The amount of points needed per night varies depending on the type of suite and time of year, and is one of the most flexible systems in place for time sharing. Points can presently be purchased on the re-sale market for approx $120 per point.
